We made a few minor updates to the Connected Data Landscape following some feedback from the community. We hope this helps to stimulate debate but also frame the space for those new to these technologies, how they are used and how they are typically integrated.
One question that was asked is why there aren’t more RDF databases. The truth is that there are many more databases that support RDF, particularly in the multimodel section. However for simplicity we have represented databases that only or primarily support RDF in the RDF section. The landscape if truly represented is actually more of a network structure (as with many things in our space) rather than a taxonomy…..one of the community members has kindly volunteered to create the first attempt at this so watch this space!
